Here were the steps I took to update:
1. Deactivated all plugins
2. changed the them to the default theme Twenty Twelve
3. Updated wordpress to 3.8.1
4. The re-actiavted the classipress theme
5. All seems to be working but I get this error under my "Popular Ads" section
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in
/home/wednesda/public_html/wp-content/themes/classipress/includes/admin/admin-options.php
on line 841 and defined in /home/wednesda/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 992
Does anyone have any information on this error? or how to fix this?
