We often think we can beat the odds or some how think of how we can place a bet that would make us rich... so I started to study KENO gaming, and learned a few things from other avid, players their tips and tricks.
opinion 1: Some said: The odds of you picking the right numbers doesn't matter theirs always 1/2 basically 1-40 and 41-80 and they pick about 8 and 8 from each side.
I applied this strategy thinking if I pick 2 from the top and two from the bottom regardless of the numbers that I would win... that was an epic FAIL the numbers I picked never came out!
opinion 2: Some said: don't pick a lot of numbers just pick 1 or 2 that increases you odds, so I played 1 number bet $25 a few times i would hit some times but never enough to make any real money
Then I started creating a database that would tell me how long a number has not played this should surely increase my chances of wining i noticed that after a number goes missing 16 times it normally would come out on game 17!
I applied this rule and it worked a few so i increased the bet over and over going as far as 18 times and the number never hit eventually I gave up and lost.
I noticed that a number can go missing over 30 times from the board and KENO will not play it that doesn't seem very random to me!
THE TRUTH!!! well my opition 3: so my conclusion is that "IT IS NOT AT ALL RANDOM " the computer takes in all the bets and then gives back the minimum PAY OUT! so the more you bet the more you know the less chances you have of actually winning anything over a few $100 bucks....
A blog about all the technical stuff.. come along for the ride and you might learn a thing or two.

Wordpress Hangs on Adding new Menu Item
ISSUE:
When you go into the admin panel of your wordpress site and try to add a new link to the menu, after hitting "Add to Menu" it just sits there loading and nothing happens.
When I disable ALL plugins and try again it works but I wanted to pin point the plugin that was causing the issue....
SOLUTION:
I found that the plugin creating the error is:
Web Ninja Auto Tagging SystemThis plugin will automatically make tags with the tagthe.net and yahoo yql services when you save or update a post. Also has the option for re-tagging all post.
Disabling that plugin will allow you to start adding new items

Wordpress Site Google search microformat update errors (Error: Missing required field "updated".)
A few weeks back around October 15th 2014 I noticed that all my websites were loosing their SEO Ranking fast almost dropping to nothing.
One thing I noticed I had Thousands of crawl errors so I cleared them up. I also re-submitted my site (using Fetch as Google in Webmaster tools) things looked a little better but the Search Quarries were still dropping in addition the amount of traffic I was getting to my sites was also at an all-time low.
Then I noticed the exclamation mark next to STRUCTURED DATA I did some more digging and turns out Google uses microformats to understand the content of your site, all of my posts were generating the following error:
Error: Missing required field "updated".
I'm using the latest version of wordpress and many different plugins and themes on several sites, so I was looking for the quickest and most simple solution to the issue and here is what I found:
Adding this line of code after the Header tags on the following .php documents (depending on your theme you might not have all 4, just add it to all the .php files that start with the word "content")
TIP information on how to get to the editor on wordpress (from the admin panel it's under Appearance > Editor > click on the .php document you want to edit on the right)
content-page.php
content-single.php
content-summary.php
content.php
<p class="post-date date updated"><?php the_time('j M, Y'); ?></p>
After entering the line of code going back to the STRUCTURED DATA tester

All the "update" errors were gone!

Removing http://www-search.info homepage browser hijack
Recently my IBM Running Windows 7 Pro, all my browsers open up to the following homepage
http://www-search.info/?aih=3
I didn't set this to be the home page as I would like google.com to be my default homepage and also for new TABS here are my attempts to get this matter resolved:
1. Went into the settings in Google Chrome and set the Homepage to be Google.com
However when I closed the browser and open it back up returned to: http://www-search.info/?aih=3
2. Check all extensions in google chrome and disabled all of them and also set the search engine to google.com.
However when I closed the browser and open it back up returned to: http://www-search.info/?aih=3
3. Went under Uninstall Programs made sure there was no apps that matched the www-search.info or any suspecious software that was recently installed (some sites reported having this issue when an application called search module is installed) I looked around but didn't find anything.
However when I closed the browser and open it back up returned to: http://www-search.info/?aih=3
4. Opened up Internet Explorer then under the Internet Options Tab went into advance and clicked on "reset" and also checked the box to Remove personal settings also did the same for Google chrome
However when I closed the browser and open it back up returned to: http://www-search.info/?aih=3
SOLUTION:
5. download and Ran a scan using AdwCleaner utility from the below link.
ADWCLEANER DOWNLOAD LINK (This link will open a new web page from where you can
THAT DID THE TRCIK! I DID HAVE TO RESTART MY COMPUTER AFTER RUNNING THE SCAN BUT IT SEEMS THAT THIS SMALL ADWCLEANER DOES THE WORK

Finally Google Chrome Resolving Host issue resolved!!!
I came across this issue a few weeks ago, were Google Chrome just sits on "Resolving Host" I would see this at the bottom left hand corner, for over 20 seconds sometimes even minutes. I tried everything to Resolve this issue, here is a list of all the things I tried:
1. Change DNS settings to Google 8.8.8.8 secondary 8.8.4.4
2. Tried changing DNS to Comcast (my local ISP) 75.75.75.75 secondary 75.75.76.76
3. Ran AVG Virus scan and Optimization
4. Ran Norton Virus scan and Network Check
5. Tried diffrent Internet Connections Timewarner, and Comcast
6. MalwareBytes Scan
7. Uninstalled many applications that I thought my interfere with my connection
8. Reset the default settings in Google Chrome
9. Checked the Proxy settings in Chrome and tried several configurations
Solution:
None of this worked Here is the only thing that seems to fix it after several frustration hours trying to get this to work. I decided to set a Static IP instead of a dynamic IP inside my connection settings. After doing this my browser went back to Normal or maybe even faster its extremely fast!!! I'm running on a T1 line, Windows 7 with 8GB of RAM I didn't see this type of solution anywhere online so I hope it helps anyone having this issue.
Overall I don't know exactly what caused the issue, but setting a STATIC IP was the only fix that did the trick.

Is it possible to switch from IPv6 to IPv4 ? when I ping my computer's name I get IPv6. I would like it to show IPv4 instead like 192. for example.
I looked all over the place for an answer to this question because godaddy.com has started broadcasting IP v6 addresses I was looking for the IPv 4 behind it I found a quick and simple solution on how to ping for the IPv 4 address:
ping <name or ip> -4
the same goes for ipv6, just add -6

Why is googleads.g.doubleclick.net showing up in my adsense reports ?
I looked all over the internet to find a quick simple explanation for this. After reading a few google help documents and doing some research online, reading others experiences.
I found that, the reason for this is that "googleads.g.doubleclick.net" to keep track of Adwords sites and Adsense click revenue google uses a system called Auto tagging, basically what it does it appends some text to the end of your URLs for tracking revenue and what users do on your site to determine the cost. When you bookmark pages it throws this information off as you are coming in from a URL that might have been previously generated. This is why you might see it in your adsense account. If you are using google adwords make sure not to link directly to the generated URL as it will provide google with the wrong tracking data = cost.
for more information on this topic I recommend reading: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1011829?hl=en

Why does Microsoft Windows has an APPLY and a OK button
I used to think about this question all the time, i know its kind of a dumb question but, there is no such thing. So here is your answer: Sometimes when you are editing a setting example when editing permissions you want to apply a change test it "maybe" but keep the window open in case you want to make more changes, pressing OK will apply the changes, but it will close the window.

How to get Wifi Channel of the networks around you using Windows 7 without a third party software just command prompt
I had an issue were I needed to know what channel the wireless networks around me were using so I can change it to one that is less active witch will increase your wireless range and speed.
The quickest way to do this with out using any third party software is to run the following command right form your command prompt.
1. from the Start menu in the search type > CMD
2. when the command prompt loads up type > netsh wlan show network mode=bssid
You will get all the following information about the wireless networks around you:
example:
SSID X : NAMEWIFI
Network type : Infrastructure
Authentication : WPA2-Personal
Encryption : CCMP
BSSID 1 : XX:XX:XX:XX
Signal : 80%
Radio type : 802.11n
Channel : 6
Basic rates (Mbps) : 1 2 5.5 11
Other rates (Mbps) : 6 9 12 18 24 36 48 54

Wordpress SNOW how to bring it back!
As many of you might have seen after Jan 4th each year Wordpress Turns off the snow option under the general settings of your website. I wanted to keep it longer this year because out here it's still snows way after January 4th I searched around for some Snow Plugin that will keep the same or similar effect, after going through about 5 the closet one I found was called:
WP Snowfall Plugin
Here is a link to the plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-snowfall/
Let me know if anyone out there has a better one. The only thing I don't like about this one is that it doesn't respond to the mouse activity like the original wordpress snowfall. It's also my understanding that the option is seasonal and there is no way to bring it back.

Thank you for contacting Advanced Hosting Support regarding your hosting account,hostmyservices.net.
I understand you have been unable to access your site from the IP 74.XXX.XXX.XXX. While looking into this we found you were correct and your IP had been blocked. We have had to block your IP multiple times in the past as well and this is because you are attempting to login to 2 different static IP wordpress accounts at a frequency of 1 login per site per minute. If you continue the monitoring of your site in this same manner you will be continually blocked and we will be unable to remove the IP address from the block list. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Please contact us if you have any further issues.

As you see if it ends with mgmt.phx3.gdg then you are being blocked and you will get request time outs Instead normally it should end in something like this:
secureserver.net Trace Complete!
This is the mail they sent to me after the issue was resolved:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for contacting Advanced Hosting Support regarding your hosting account,hostmyservices.net.
