THE ISSUE: When I tried importing CSV file into to my Online Directorypress website hosted by godaddy.com
I noticed that if the file has over 100 listings the server would time out with the following error message:
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

THE SOLUTION: You can upload the file that you are trying to import using a ftp service example windows explorer, I recommend FlashFxp the give you a 15 Trial so it should be worth trying it.
Once you are connected to your website via FTP browse to the following folder ( /wp-content/themes/directorypress/thumbs/ ) and import the sheet there now when you go back to your import page in Directorypress you will see the CSV file that you imported next to the import dropdown box

I would like to also add that some plugins in my case a facebook plugin can also generate this error, I advise disabling all your plugins before performing this action
